Gary Wayne Goosman, born January 10, 1941 to Fred and Otilia Goosman in Wichita, Kansas, died on April 17, 2010 at the age of 69. Gary was a graduate of the University of Arkansas 1972 and a long-time resident of Roswell, Georgia. Gary's thirty-year career with Cabot Corporation took him and his family many places in the United States, allowing him to make friends in many places throughout the country. Gary was a dedicated member of the Church of the Savior, serving as the Moderator for the Congregation for many years, as well as a board member of Touch the Future, Inc. and a riding member of the Killer Creek Harley Owner's Group. Gary was a gentle, kind and giving man - counsellor to many and loved by one and all.
Gary is survived by his wife, Darlene; his three children, Kristy and Todd Hughes, David and Julie Goosman and Eric and Meg Goosman; six grandchildren, and his two sisters, Janis Watson and Penny McNulty. Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Kohout, earlier this year. A memorial service will be held at 10:55 am on Saturday, April 24th at Church of the Savior, 1950 Old Alabama Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
